    Located in St. Moritz, weather conditions limited the events along with the economic downtime in certain areas in the world. However until recently, a Norwegian girl named Sonja Heine was the youngest one to get a gold medal in the Olympics.

    The Third Olympic Games still was in a era of the Great Depression and was even worse as a result as less countries and people showed up. The event was held for the first time in Lake Placid, United States. The highlights were a man named Eddie Eagan. He made history as the first and only Olympian to gain gold medals in both the summer and winter events.

    The fourth one was a improvement over the economy, and was handled by Germany. They also handled the Summer Olympics and was the last country to do both seasons in the same time.

It was reasonable during the finishing of the war as it was a neutral ground from the start. By that, it was not war-torn and was a suitable choice. Handled in Italy, it was also officially the first televised Winter Olympics. However, there was no revenue given by that cause.

    On 1960, California, USA, was in charge of the Olympics. However, it took a while to set everything up. As a result, the cost for the infrastructure was about $80 million dollars. This was also one of the first to have Walt Disney do the opening ceremonies and have the rights to air the events on television for profit. Women speed skating and biathlon was introduced at the time as well.

    By 1972, Japan held the torch for the first time. The time it took for this to work was about a year. During construction, both Japan and the Olympics benefited from this. Japan had a more modern country with a subway which althogether costed $500 million. The Olympics reached about $8.47 million in rights for broadcast rights that year.

    The event was held in Canada the following year. By that time, it was one of the most expensive olympics. The committee learned how to take national revenue and record television into a net surplus which built up world-class facilities for olympians themselves. (ex: Canada).

    Hosted again in Norway, this event gained revenue by selling over 1.21 million tickets. It was one of the first olympics to add information technology like time systems and terminals. Their revenue was almost about $500 million which was earned mostly from TV rights. This type of Olympic was separated by a two year difference from it's usual connection with the Summer Olympics on the same year.

    This event was one of the most successful of the whole Winter Oylmpics history. It gained over 2 billion watching the competitions. Financially, they made more benefit in profit with less help in sponsors. The surplus handled one of the US olympician facilities in the same area and amounted the US Federal subsidies to about $1.3 billion.

    During that year, marketing was largely involved in this time. A man named Leo Obstbaum brought upon the main symbols that distinguished the event. There was also special for coins and stamps in the nation specially made for the event. Outside, the 2010 Olympics had more of a video game endorsement and a few musical albums based off the ones made during the event. This was also the first time Canada officially won a gold medal in their home country.
