    On June 7, the government announced the start of a new social distancing phase that eases quarantine restrictions for large portions of the national territory starting on June 8. Starting on this date, social and economic activity may restart but must follow strict health guidelines, including restricting social gatherings to 10 people or fewer and maintaining two meters from each other while using facemasks in public spaces.
