    The Soviet Union came into existence on December 29-30 1922 when representatives of Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia and the Transcaucasia Federation agreed to and then signed the Treaty of the Soviet Union.

    The Treaty of Versailles
    The treaty of versailles was signed to end WWI. This treaty blamed Germany for the starting the war and this made Germany mad. Vittorio Orlando, David Lloyd George, Georges Clemenceau and Woodrow Wilson was the four people that signed the treaty.

    Adolf Hitler left school at the age of sixteen and went to Vienna where he hoped to enter the Academy and become a painter. His application to enter the academy was rejected when he was 17 years old and a year later his mother died from cancer. His father had died four years earlier and with no relatives that wanted to support him Adolf Hitler found himself living rough on the streets of Vienna. He became interested in politics.

Benito Mussolini stated: "The League is very well when sparrows shout, but no good at all when eagles fall out." Later, in 1930, countries such as Germany, Japan, Italy, and Spain withdrew from the league because it was not serving its original purpose to prevent future conflict.

When President Hindenburg died in August 1934 Hitler combined the position of Chancellor and President and made himself Fuhrer of Germany.
