    In 1937, Japanese forces had launched a full invasion of China’s forces that had collapsed when this took place. Historians also called this The Second-Sino Japanese war. It lasted until 1937. This event had made people feel terror, anger, and grief. The Japanese had crushed the foundation upon which the communists existed. They had to use the support of the people.

    Rape Of Nanking
    In the span of six weeks, Imperial Japanese forces killed hundreds and thousands of people. Between 20,000-80,000 women were sexually assaulted. Then China was left in ruins. It's gonna take decades for China's people to fully recover from these brutal attacks.

    Soviet Soldiers entered the Majdanek Camp in Poland and had later ended up over ruling other killing centers. They had wanted to kill and hurt thousands of people and they would not let anyone or anything stand in their way.

    Battle Of Iwo JIma
    This started as a need for a base near the Japanese Coast. Iwo Jima had been defeated by about 23,000 army and navy troops from Japan. Even though the conditions there were horrible, the marines had wiped out other beings after one month of fighting, it had gotten itself a place in the American Lore, along with a photo that had showed the american flag being raised in honor and pride.

    The USA was the first nation who had used a very dangerous atomic weaponry during the time of war. The bomb was dropped on the city of Hiroshima, in Japan. People argue that this was the start of The Cold war. The USA has been working on making an explosive bomb after Albert Einstein warned them about Nazi Germany had already been doing research of nuclear weapons.

    It's known as "Victory over japan day". This was because Japan's surrender took place along the U.S.S. Missouri and that was anchored in Tokyo Bay. Japan's capitulation in The Pacific had brought years and years of bad things to a final close.
