    Most people agreed the US should stay out of the war. After 8 months has passed, German submarine sunk the Lusitania, killing 1195 people. Including Americans. It made the US not to enter the war for nearly two years.
  • Battle of Verdun

    The guns opened fire. Three fourths of the French would eventually serve there. July 14, the Germans called off their offensive.

    German war dogs fitted with apparatus for laying telephone wires.

    The camels carried wounded men to safety on the North West fronteir of India.

    Horses wear gas masks loaded up with equitment. This happened in Belgium.
