    The soldiers were do basic chores, play card games, and write letters to home. In these trenches, there were rats, lice, dead bodies, and trench foot.

    During World War 1 , it rained inside of the trenches, and wearing water soak boots and socks for months starts to rot away your foot.
    Soldiers foot were sometimes amupatied .

    Horses, Dogs ,Hawks, Pigeons, and Goldfish was used in the war.They each had different purposes.
    Goldfish were used when they cleaned the mask , they then put the goldfish into the rise water, and if killed the Goldfish , then there was still poison on the masks. Horses was used during the war and even now. Hawks and pigeons were used to send messages . Dogs detected mines and lifted the soldier's spirit up.
