    Britain was dealing with an extreme threat with germany and there superior air force. The German luftwaffe attacked British airfields, cities, radar stations and aircraft factories. Luckily the Royal Air Force, Also had Radar. Slowly forcing the german attacks to a halt.
  • Tripartite Pact

    On this day germany, italy and japan all agreed to sign an agreement to become each others supporters in the war. This agreement was signed in Berlin
  • The Battle Of Dunkirk

    Allied forces cornered by the advancing German armies at Dunkirk. 338,000 managed to escape across the English Channel. Naval craft/personnel were reinforced by hundreds of 'little ships' and their civilian crews who had volunteered to take part.
  • Operation BarBarossa

    Hitler saw that his war tactic ¨Blitzkrieg¨ had worked on the invasion of poland. Making him think that it was a full proof plan.Hitler sent 750 german tanks to harass the russians. It was a sneak attack, by the end of this gruesome morning the japanese were capable of destroying 188 planes, 4 Battleships, and 3 Destroyers. This Event led to the United States joining WWII.
  • Battle of the Coral sea

    Japan had aimed to attack New Guinea and the solomon islands, The U.S and with the help of Australian Naval Ships began to move in on the japanese. This was the first time battleships were being used at long distance. The Fight forced the japanese to stop their Invasion plans
  • Battle of Midway

    Midway was the ultimate backfire for the japanese, these japs were planning a sneak attack on the U.S. Luckily the codes the japanese were sending were cracked by the U.S. so we created a counter attack. During the battle 4 japanese Battleships were destroyed and sunk. Tilting the war in the allies favor. This event also lowered japanese moral on their views in the war.

    On June 4 1994, thousands of American british and canadians soldiers breached on to the 50 mile beach that was boarded up with bunkers landmines and beach obstacles. Within a week later 326,000 troops, more than 50,000 vehicles and some 100,000 tons of equipment had landed at Normandy.

    This was the largest and last, battle in the pacific ocean there were nearly 280 Thousand U.S soldiers and 180 thousand Japanese soldiers. This was one of the last large battle with the japanese before the bombing

This plan was meant to cripple not only the army of the japanese but also their moral showing there not top shots. This in fact would be the last few battles taking place for the japanese before their defeat.

    On august 6th a B-29 dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Killing 70,000 Japanese. Three days later the U.S dropped another bomb on Nagasaki killing another 40,000. ON August 14th the japanese surrendered ending the war with united states
