France and Great Britain guaranteed military support for Poland if Germany attacked them.Two days later Germany attacked Poland and France and Great Britain declared war on Germany where they began World War II.The Soviet troops also attacked Poland at the same time Germany did so because of that Poland lost. -
German invades Denmark and Norway
Germany invaded Norway and occupied Denmark which began war.It was the first major airborne attacks on the Allied Forces.The German minister demanded Norway’s surrender and since ther government refused the Germans responded with a parachute invasion.A German offensive in France led Britain to transfer thousands of soldiers from Norway to France.That being done then led to Germany victory. -
Germany invades Belgium,Holland, and Luxembourg
Germany invades Belgium,Holland,and Luxembourg in attempt to capture Paris by passing through neutral countries.The actual invasion took place August 4,1914.The Germany army demanded free passage through Belgium but the Belgium Government refused and so German troops invaded them.The problem of it all was that Belgium was a neutral country so they didn't stand for either side there for Germany takes them as an enemy. -

Hitler ordered an invasion to the Soviet Union which he called The Operation Of Barbarossa.The Soviet Union tried to beat Germany but Germany's air craft was way larger and advanced then the Soviet Unions aircraft.Hitler and his commanders then got into an argument which delayed Germany's advance up into October. -
The bombing of Pearl Habor
Pearl Harbor is a naval base near Hawaii where the Japanese attacked by surprise.Hundreds of Japanese fighter planes descended on the base.The Japanese managed to destroy or damage around 20 american vessels which includes 8 battleships and over 300 airplanes.That being done more than 2,400 Americans died. -

This battle was a decisive naval battle in the pacific theater of world war ll.This happened only 6 months after the Pearl Harbor attack. -

Russians consider it to be one of the greatest battles of their patriotic wars.This war stopped the German advance into to Soviet Union. -

World War II was the most devastating world wide conflict.Millions and millions of people died including 6 million Jews who were in the hands of the Nazis.Not only were millions of people injured but some even got their houses taking away.The U.S president and Churchill and Staling talked about the on going war with Germany and Japan making a peace treaty with Germany.
