    The Assassination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand
    On June 28, Gavrilo Princip, a member of a Serbian terrorist group, killed Austrian Archduke Francis Ferdinand and his wife Sophie at Sarajevo. The assassination triggered World War l because Ferdinand's death shocked the world and people were angry.
