June of 1940, during the dramatic days when Paris fell to the Germans, and became republics of the Soviet Union.

    This happend from may 10, 1940 to June 25, 1940. This was also known as the fall of france. This was an axis victory. They captured paris on June 14, 1940. German troops stared to occupy at 8:00 pm.

    The United States and other allied troops landed in Normandy, France, on D-Day begin the liberation with Western Europe. This happened on June 6, 1944. It was also the allied invasion of Normandy, France.
