    Hitler Becomes the official leader/ führer of the Nazi party.

    When china pleaded to the league of nations to help them defend themselves the league of nations did what they could. When their actions had little to no effect on japan it proved to the world that the league of nations had no real power, thus discrediting them.

    Hitler becomes Chancellor of Germany
    Hitler assumes the position of chancellor of Germany, thus granting him even more political power. This allowed Hitler to form his own totalitarian nation.

    Neutrality act is passed in the U.S.A
    This act stated that america would not interfere or aid any countries in Europe during a war. This allowed for hitler to continue to grow is his army and prepare for war with one less superpower to fear.

    Italy, under Mussolini, invades Ethiopia and wins, conquering all of Ethiopia. This proves two things, Italy's willingness to expand despite the league of nations requests. It also Proves that the league of nations is to nervous to start a war they don't want to do anything about it.

    Hitler under the treaty of versailles was only permitted to have a protective police force, but not a military. Hitler did so anyway, and he marched them into the rhineland which was supposed to be a demilitarized area.

    When the axis pact was signed it officially allied together Germany and Italy, two of the most fascist and toleration nations in Europe. Together the two displayed intentions to expand and have little regard for the league of nations. This allowed for their military growth and expansion through invasion.

    This is significant because it began to mark the first signs of what will soon become the holocaust. Although there were concentration camps already one must do something in order to get there, but now Germans were just sending any jewish person because they were jewish.

    This is significant because although the pact stated Germany would only gain the Sudetenland, he soon after invaded the country and conquered all of Czechoslovakia. By France and Great Britain once again not doing anything about this, it shows their strong desire to not enter a war.

    After Germany invades Poland it is seen as a full act of war and soon it is treated as one. Both Britain and France declare war on Germany and as a result her allies as well. This marks the beginning to the second World War.
