    In October 1922, Mussolini and his followers threatened to overthrow Italy's elected government. In response, the King appointed Mussolini to Prime Minister. Mussolini then turned Italy's government into the world's first Fascist state.

    Josef Stalin was the sole dictator of the Soviet Union in 1929. Under the rule of Stalin, the Soviet Union was turned into a totalitarian state. Stalin then began to take crops and animals from peasants and transferred them to government-run farms. Those who didn't follow were killed or sent to labor camps.

    After many Mexicans moved to the states in world war two, many began to face racial prejudice and violent strife. Many wore flashy suits called zoot suits, this caused riots across the country that would be known as the zoot suit riots.

    After the attacks on D-Day, France was quickly taken back by the combined might of the allied forces. This caused celebration across France.
  • Battle of the Bulge

    The battle of the bulge marked one of the many turning points in the war. After the Americans established their presence in France, Germany tries to fight back on French grounds with almost all of their divisions. During this battle, German troops managed to create a "bulge" in the allie's lines. This bulge was soon completely removed.

    After the recent defeat in the Philippines, the U.S soon sent more troops and aircraft in to help recapture the Philippine islands. This attack was met with much resistance from Japanese troops, but in the end, the Americans managed to recapture the country.

    After the recent attacks on D-Day, FDR suddenly dies of a intracerebral hemorrhage. This death caused American troops to go into a panic and vice-president Truman has to quickly take office. Many didn't know how he would lead the war.

    After the recapturing of France. Allied and Russian forces soon push both side of the country of Germany and manage to capture the country. During the raid of Adolf Hitler's bunker, he soon commits suicide as to not be captured by Allied forces.

    Seeking to end the war with Japan once and for all, Allied forces dropped two atomic bombs over the cities of Nagasaki and Hiroshima. These two bombs both killed thousands of people instantly and saw the end of the war with Japan.

    After the dropping of the two atomic bombs. Japan decides to surrender to the US. This day marked a tremendous victory for the U.S as the war was officially over and troops could return home.

    The war crime trials marked the end of the war across the world. They marked several military generals for war crimes and had them sentenced to death by hanging. Many people held in these trials were mostly Nazi war generals who weren't in the attack on Germany.
