    Nicholas II became the last czar of Russia. He would later start the Russian Revolution and other wars and conflicts.

    Russia decided to reject Japan's plan to divide Manchuria and Korea into spheres. Later, Japan launched an unexpected attack on Port Arthur, one of Russia's ports in china. Russia suffered many defeats from Japan. Japan won the war on September 5, 1905
