The stamp act was where the British made the Colonists pay taxes on any piece of paper. The Colonists were upset with the act, but the British liked the act because it helped them pay for there troops. -
The Quartering Act
The Quartering act was when colonists had to provide food for the British soldiers and all British soldiers had to have a place to stay.The colonists were not to fond of this but the British were. -
The Declaratory Act
A declaratory act was passed after the stamp act was revoked. The act said, that the parliament had power to make the laws.The British liked this.The colonists on the other hand did not like this. -
The Townshed Act
The townshed act put duties on glass, lead, paper,tea, and paints imported into the colonies.The colonists were angry about it and the British didn't mind it. -
Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre is known as the incident that happened on kings street and British soldiers shot and killed people while under attack by a mob. The colonists were very angry during and after the Boston massacre. The British were also mad at the colonists because they think one of the people from the mob shot first. -
The Boston Tea Party
The Boston tea party was when the colonists poured over 1 million dollars worth of tea into the harbor. The colonists were very mad about the Boston tea party and so was the British. -

The Tea Act was the final straw in a series of unpopular policies and taxes imposed by Britain on the American Colonies. The Colonists were not fond of it, but the British were. -

The Boston Port Act was designed to punish the inhabitants of Boston, Massachusetts for the incident that would become known as the Boston Tea Party. The Colonists did not like the Boston Port Act, but the British did. -

1774 Quebec Act, passed by the British Parliament to institute a permanent administration in Canada replacing the temporary government created at the time of the Proclamation of 1763. The colonists did not really care, but the British liked it. -

The Ride of Paul Revere is when he and William Dawes rode from Boston to Lexington to warn John Hancock and Samuel Adams of the British army. The British did not like this, but the colonists were happy about this. -

Common Sense is a pamphlet written by Thomas Paine in 1775–76 recommending independence from Great Britain to people in the Thirteen Colonies. The British did not like this at all, but on the other hand the Colonists did. -
The 2nd Continental Congress
The 2nd Continental Congress managed the colonial war effect and moved incrementally towards independence, adopting the deceleration of independence. The Colonists liked this, but the British did not like this. -
Deceleration of Independence
The Declaration summarized the colonists’ motivations for seeking independence. By declaring themselves an independent nation, the American colonists were able to confirm an official alliance with the Government of France and obtain French assistance in the war against Great Britain. The colonists loved this, but the British not so much. -
