Hawaii Trip
I visited Hawaii with about 20 other kids from my area with People to People Student Ambassador Program. We learned about the culture and lifestyle in Hawaii and integrated ourselves into their culture for 2 weeks. -
Ecuador and Galapagos Islands Trip
I was able to visit South America with the People to People Student Ambassador Program, where myself and about 20 other students learned about the country itself and the people who live there. -

Attended Pavilion High School
I graduated from Pavilion Central School in 2013 with 52 other classmates. We were a very small class and we lost a lot of students throughout high school due to moving. I met some of the most inspirational teachers in 11th and 12th grade and I'm glad that I was able to go to such a small-knit school where everyone knows each other personally. -
Donating Blood
I started donating blood in 2013 because we had a blood drive in high school and now I donate blood and platelets religiously and love the fact that I can help so many people. I still don't enjoy needles, but I love the fact that my platelets help those going through chemotherapy and treatments. -

Genesee Community College
I started taking college classes my senior year of high school so I was able to graduate in 3 semesters instead of 4. I started taking Television Production classes toward the end of my journey at GCC and found my internship at Channel 10. I am so thankful for all the opportunities I had here. -
Channel 10 News Internship
I was able to intern at Channel 10 News in Rochester and start exploring what career field I wanted to get into. With all of the experiences, I was able to put my foot in the door of the working world and start myself on the right path to finding the job of my dreams. -
First Real Job
Last summer, I started working in a Broadcast Production crew at Batavia Downs for the horse races every year. The first year I was working the cameras, this year I was promoted to the Broadcast Technical Director. This job has opened so many doors for me and helped me gain job experience. -

SUNY Geneseo
I chose Geneseo once I figured out what I wanted my major to be, which is Communication. I have met some awesome people here and taken so very beneficial classes that have helped me toward my career goal. I took many summer classes and loaded semesters so I would be able to graduate a semester early. -
Florida Trip
I traveled to Florida alone to stay with friends and visit family. While I was on this trip, I took some time to check out job opportunities in the Fort Lauderdale area and I found a few that I was interested in, similar to my current job and entry level jobs. -
Rochester City Newspaper Internship
I was curious about print news writing and decided to spend my summer writing and interning for City Newspaper. I enjoyed my time there but would not pursue a career in newspaper writing. I was able to work on some cool stories and gain more experience for journalist style writing, both online and print.
