  • Constitution was Ratified

    White male property owners have the right to vote only.

  • Religious qualifications dropped

    The voting requirement for religion was eliminated. People no longer needed to believe in a religion to vote.

    White males no longer need to own property to vote at the election

    The Amendments says former male Slaves has the rights to vote now.

    Women's Suffrage was guaranteed on this amendment.
    Women suffrage is when women got the right to vote.

  • 23rd Amendment

    This amendment states that the people in the District of Columbia can now participate in elections, like they are a state.

    Poll tax is banned as a requirement

  • Voting rights act of 1965

    Protects the rights of minority voters

  • 26th Amendment

    Minimum age of voting is 18 years of age
