    Philosopher - Aristotle

    Aristotle is known by many to be the most influential philosopher in history, being the first one to think of there being a hierarchy to all life in the Universe. He believed that there was a ladder of life where one animal was in control of the other all the way up to the top which was humans. Aristotle was considered the heart of the classical education system in the medieval western world and had an opinion on just about every subject.

    Creation of Christianity
    Starting in Judea (present-day Israel), Christianity was formed about 2000 years ago with a man named Jesus Christ and his faithful group of followers. The Romans was in rule of Judea and the Jews did not like that. Jesus started as a Jew and started teaching in the synagogues and healing people who was suffering. He started challenging the religious authorities and made the Jewish religious authorities worry. He later was executed on a Roman cross and rose to life three days later.

    Leonardo Da Vinci Paints "The Vitruvian Man"
    In the year 1490, Leonardo Da Vinci created one of the most well known drawling in the world. The Vitruvian Man is actually two images laid over one another to form one. In one image you can see the man spreading his arms and legs, while reaching out and touching the circle. In the other photo, you can see one man having everything straight out and grabbing the sides and bottom of the square, both of these pictures show symmetry.

    William Shakespeare's Hamlet
    First believed to be written around the 1600's, the play Hamlet is one of the most famous from William Shakespeare. The first production of this play was by the "Chamberlains Men in the late 1600's. Hamlet was an instance success until all of the theatres closed from the puritanical government between 1640 and 1660. Later on, William Davenant (who claimed to be William Shakespeare's Illegitimate son) Reopened Hamlet and it has been a success ever since.

    Philosopher - John Locke

    Born in England, John attended the University of Oxford where he studied medicine. Throughout his life he wrote about political philosophy, epistemology, and education. These writings helped found modern Western philosophy. His ideas is believed to move England's power from their throne more towards their parliament. Locke was exiled in 1683 due to a failed assassination attempt on King Charles II and was let back in when Charles stepped down from the throne five years later.

    Not only is this known as one of the most important events for the United States but also for other major parts of the world. In 1776 the United States destroyed tea that was being imported by the British, this representing them having enough of the tyranny and wanting freedom. This also started up rises in French as well as the thirteen colonies. The American Revolutionary war was triggered after this event and gave America which has become one of the largest countries its independence

    Creation of Mormonism
    The Mormon's story begins in 1805 in Vermont, where Joseph Smith Jr was born. Joseph Smith was disturbed growing up by all the other forms of Christianity and could never decide which one was true. When he was 14, he went into the woods to pray about this and supposedly God told him not to join anyone. Three years later, he would talk to an angel known as Moroni who would have Joseph translate this message from golden plates onto paper and not show anyone these plates.

    In this work of art, you can see an old man playing the guitar while being dressed in clothes that look like rags with holes in them. The photo is very dark excluding the guitar, this being a representation of the guitar bringing him light or happiness in his life. Picasso had personal influence of poverty in his life where he received the idea for this painting.

    Wilson Rawls Published "Where the Red Fern Grows"
    Known for being an extremely emotional children's book, Where the Red Fern Grows was published in 1961 by author Wilson Rawls. This story contains a young boy during the time of the Great Depression who receives two puppies and raises them to become coon hunting champions. Later in the novel, they tree a mountain lion where in order to save the young boys life one of the dogs fends of the lion which causes him to lose his life the next day. Later on the other dog loses the will to live and dies.

    J.K Rowling creates Harry Potter and the Sorceres Stone.
    In 1997, the very first Harry Potter novel was created which would create a legendary novel, and movie industry later on. Originally named "Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone", the title would have philosopher removed and sorcerer added by the book company Scholastic. In October 1998, the book was first published in the United States by the same company, two months later it appeared on the New York Times bestseller list.

    Moment in history: 9/11 Terrorist Attacks
    In 2001, 19 members of the militia known as Al-Qaeda hijacked four airline planes in the United States where they would attempt to perform suicide attacks into building within the country. The nineteen members was split into four groups each having different targets being, the pentagon, both twin towers, and the white house. only 2 of the four made their destination(twin towers) but it would still be known as one of the most devastating events in American history.

    First performing in 2011 on Broadway, the book of Mormon has been a Broadway play that is still very successful until this day. Matt Stone and Trey Parker wrote this play about a young Mormon boy traveling to Africa to spread the book of Mormon. Though this Performing Art is accurate on its facts about the Mormon religion, it mostly attempts to make fun of the religion in this play.
