    Vinland

    Vinland
Leaving all his friends in Greenland, he left with his father, Tyrkir and others to Vinland (in todays Newfoundland). There he became Tyrkir's apprentice, learning even more about folklore and runes. One day Skraelings (inuits) arrived at Vinland, and the different groups started to trade. The viking leader refused to trade any metal since their metal weapons against the skraelings' stone weapons was their only advantage. This turned out to be smart, since later a fight between the groups began.

    The monks' revenge

After two years of flight, the monks found Thangbrand. They wanted revenge and held a lawsuit for Thangbrands death, but luckily Eochaid was present in the court. After a short argumentation Eochaid saved Thangbrand from certain death and instead he was sent out on open sea in a poor boat and only one satchel of food. Luckily this was the satchel where he had hid the crystal rocks. Thangbrand had no power in which direction the boat was drifting and his survival was only for Odinn to decide.
