    King John signed the Magna Carta
    Magna Carta, which means The Great Charter, is a charter of rights between the barons of Medieval England and King John of England at Runnymede, near Windsor. It is one of the most important documents of Medieval England. The king, by signing in the Magna Carta, promised to govern the kingdom and not using his power to abuse the citizens. This event's important to the US history as it had a strong influence on the United States Constitution, and it was a starting point for the government powers.

    The French and Indian War - The Seven Years’ War mid 1700s
    France and Great Britain battled over North America because of the land. The strong military leadership, the army size, and the # of Indians who allied themselves to the French made it difficult for the British. In 1758, the British started to win battles. England won most of North America and India, France was left with some of its Caribbean and African colonies. After that, the British government placed taxes on the colonists to pay the debt from the war, which leads to the American Revolution

After that, some people even refused to buy British goods, or dressed as Indians. This event was important to the US History because it showed that Americans wouldn’t take taxation but had their own opinion. That was the American first protestation, in order to fight for independence.

    It was a meeting of delegates from every colonies (except Georgia) at Carpenter's Hall. After the Boston Tea Party, the British put punishment so at the meeting they discussed about their responding and went to 2 options: send King George III that he must stop or they'd boycott. Because of the King's ignorance, they boycotted. They planned for a meeting in May, 1775 if the British didn't meet the demands. It's important because the meeting showed every colonies had the same wants of the equality

    This was a battle between the British and 13 American colonies. About 700 British troops were on a mission to find 77 armed minutemen under Captain John Parker. Suddenly, a shot was fired from an undetermined gun, and a cloud of musket smoke soon covered the green. There were eights Americans dead and ten others were wounded, but only one British soldier was injured. This event is important to the US history as it showed the moment when the American Revolution began.

The Revolutionary War.

    The U.S. Constitution was a charter of government that came to be ratified by the states, which is considered as the supreme law of the land. It was written during the Philadelphia Convention and was signed on September 17, 1787. Because of James Madison’s ideas contribution, he was being called “The father of Constitution”. It’s important to the US History as it includes the basic laws, principles that govern the United States of America, and the individual liberties of the Americans citizens.

He didn't so the South bombarded Fort Sumter from all sides. At last, he knew that lack of food and ammunition so he surrendered.     By signed into the Homestead Act law, President Abraham Lincoln had gave opportunities for the African Americans to have their own land. The U.S. government encouraged the Western migration by providing settlers 160 acres of public land. In exchange, homesteaders only had to pay a small filing fee and were required to complete 5 years of continuous residence before receiving ownership of the land. This event is important to the US History as it showed both men and women could have equal chances.

It's important to the US History as it was the bloodiest battle of the American Civil War and it was the turning point as it was the Confederacy's best chance to achieve victory.

Since the railroad's had ability to connect both coasts with a relatively quick form of transportation, it opened markets for goods that didn't exist earlier. Products that were manufactured in the industrial cities of the east could be delivered to the west coast in fast way. Also, for traveling, the people could now be able to travel in a short amount of time, and had less risks than before.
