    Joe Sullivan

    Joe Sullivan was known for his passion for Jazz. When he was younger he studied classical piano for twelve years of his life, but at seventeen he went to his first club and heard Jazz. This lead his career very good. In 1933 he joined Bing Crosby and started radio broadcasts. He got very sick with tuberculosis, but after he recovered he joined the orchestra in 1939. I chose him because my pap loves Jazz and I thought it would be fun to learn about.

    This movie is a comedy mystery. The thin man was based on a novel. Clyde Wynant went missing right before his daughters wedding, he promised he'd be back before. He had to go on a secret mission that no body knew about. His secertary died and they thought that he was the one that did it, but they found the true killer at a dinner party. I chose this topic because I thought the name was funny, I wanted to know why it was called "The Thin Man."

    This film is a musical fantasy by Walt Disney. It was assumed to be the highest grossing sound film during that time. This was the first feature under Walt Disney to the New York Times. "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" was the very first full length animated movie in history. It's about Snow White and she venters into the woods and finds dwarves, she lives with then until she gets cursed and finds her true love. I chose this movie because I love Disney movies and I thought it would fun.

This was the biggest rally that has happened, 22,00 people went to this rally. They made the "German American Bond" to emphasize the American credentials. I choose this topic because I thought it was intersting, I wanted to know what the rally was about.

    Franklin Roosevelt's third term
    Franklin Roosevelts third term happened mainly for only a couple reasons. He promised American no wars on foreign countries. He was also an isolationist and a noninterventionost. But he most likely won because of his labor unions, political machines, ethnic voters, and traditional democratic voters. I chose this topic because he was the very first president to get a third term and then after that he got another one.

    The Ukraine Holocaust took place during the occupation of Ukraine by Nazi Germany. Over 3,000,000 Ukrainians and non-Jewish victims were killed over the years 1941-1945. Many Ukrainians were deported back to Germany to become slaves. Some of the Ukraine's were killed by death squads, they are armed groups that conduct extrajudicial killings or forced disappearances of people, genocide, or revolutionary terror

    By the time he died over 500,000 people died. He was the leader of the Indonesian independence movement, he was also Indonesia's first president for around three decades. He made the Indonesian people have an anti-communist purge. It is the new order until his presidency came to a downfall.

    Elizabeth Jones was a stripper that had met Karl Hulten at her job. They had been seeing each other, on October 7th 1944 they flagged an illegal cab. Karl shot George Heath two times and killed him, soon after Elizabeth took all of his valuables. Karl Hulten was hung, Elizabeth Jones was sent to jail for nine years. Some people call them the cleft chin murder. I chose this because it intrigued me.
