He is also known for his Gettsyburgh Address speech. This is considered one of the greatest speeches in American history, and was delivered on November 19, 1863. On April 14, 1865 while at Ford's Theater attending a play, Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth.

    Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt was elected into office in September of 1901. He was best known for his exuberant personality, range of interests and achievements, and his leadership of the Progressive Movement. Another fun fact, the teddy bear was named after President Roosevelt.

    Franklin D. Roosevelt, better known as FDR, was elected as the 33rd president of the United States. One of FDR's greatest moments as president was his speech he gave after the bombing of Pearl Harbor saying it was "a date which will live in infamy". FRD also was diagnosed with polio in 1921. He was permanently paralyzed from the waist down, but refused to accept it. He taught himself how to walk short distances in iron braces. There are only two known pictures to exist of FDR in his wheelchair.

    John F. Kennedy, also known as JFK, was the youngest man to be elected as president of the United States at 43 years old. In just his short time as president, JFK still dealt with events such as the Cuban Missile Crisis, initiating Project Apollo, the building of the Berlin Wall, and the African-American Civil Rights Movement. Kennedy was assassinated Friday, November 22, 1963.
