The end of kapu part 1
Kapu ended in 1819 right after king kamehameha the firsts deth.Ka'ahumanu was the person to convince liholiho to ban kapu because the men had more power then the women so ka'uamanu cold not do as much things as liholiho.Liholiho had a feast with the men and women of hawaii because ka'uamanu convinced him and there was no consaquenses with the gods fore breaking kapu. The word soon spread out that kapu was over. Liholiho later that day burned the haious and took down all of the picktures. -
