Typical Behaviors

    Ages 5 to 8

    There are many behaviors we see that occur through the age span of 5 through 10. Some of the typical behaviors are:
    They will be eating a lot more than before because they are growing and are more active, they will want to be more independent with certain things and act like they know EVERYTHING, they will start to act like they don't like their parents, when we see children in this age span playing together we most typically see children playing with the same sex.

    Ages 9 to 10

    During this time frame some typical behaviors we see are that our kids friends become more important to them than their parents, and that rules can be flexible and excuses are made for breaking the rules that have been broken.

    Ages 11 to 13

    During the age span of 11 to 13 we start to see children develop new typical behaviors. Some of the typical behaviors that the children develop are; they will start to have strong friendships with others, children become embarrassed to be seen with their parents out in public, even though the children are embarrassed to be seen with their parents they look to them for guidance, they also start to understand how others are feeling.

    Ages 14 to 18

    There are many behaviors we see when kids hit their teenage years. Some of the behaviors we see are that romances and friendships become very important. The kids friends influence their clothing style, music, and some of their behaviors. Older teenagers are less influenced by their friends and can think for themselves.
