    Growing up in the 2000's, my parents introduced me to songs on the cassette to calm me down when I get fussy. It often led to us purchasing a walkman for when I fussed during trips outside of the house.
  • Radio

    Radio
    As the first few years passed, my love for music expanded into more genres. The radio became a good alternative compared to the constant Peter Pan songs on my walkman.
  • CD's

    CD's
    After growing up a little more my parents began working again full time. So, of course, they needed a way to distract me. As such, I was introduced to CD's as a form of entertainment.
  • DVD's

    DVD's
    Not too long after, I had been introduced to DVD's of movies like Disney, and Pixar. A repeating favorite would be Land Before Time.

    Animax and HeroTV soon took rise as a form of entertainment. This introduced new concepts for heroes and more.
  • TV Shows

    TV Shows
    As I became older, I had found myself enticed by the wonders of Television. These shows became a prize at the end of the day, with Totally Spies, Martin Mystery, and more being a general favorite.

    During the beginning school, the exposure to other kids and making of friends became too exciting for the standard 8 hours of school. Thus the use of landline was introduced.

    Crawling into what may be considered a pre-teen, of course the trends at the time would be the beauty tips of Candy, Total Girl, whilst the funny jokes and embarrassing moment of K-Zone where captivating.

    The internet became a prominent during the time when internet games for kids became prominent.

    The first iPad soon took rise, and it became a new form of distractions for it's fun games that utilize the use of touchscreen.

    Gaming became an exhilarating past time for many youths, and such became a hub for entertainment and fun.
