in 1906 he began a peaceful revalution and declared he would never obey an anti asian law nomatter what even if he goes to prison.thousans of indians joind him in this act. he was imprisoned twice and later returned to india. -

gandhis ashes were spread on the ganges for a ceromoney for what mahatma gandhi has done for india. this is 50 years after gandhis assasination.
