Time Between Us Overall Premise
I thought the book was a really cute book. I loved the romance between Anna and Bennett. I also loved where it would just leave you hanging at parts like before their kiss. They lean and it gets you to the point like yes,they're going to kiss then they don't. So you get frustrated -
New Kid
Anna notices there's a new kid that goes to their schoolnow. After awhile she realizes that the new guy is the same guy she saw at the track that night before. -
Confrontation
Anna's friend finally asked him if he's ever seen her before. He was clueless he has never seen her before in his life. But she still thought there was something fishy about him. -
Where is Bennett???
Anna is so confused of where he went. She saw proof he was there. But she was so confused on how he could just disappear without a trace. -
Park bench
Anna works at her family's bookstore, so one night afte she was closing up the shop she saw Bennett on the bench. He looked sickly. He was mummling to himself. He was talking to Anna saying that it was just a migrane and he gets them all the time. He was going to tell her something that night but then she told him he should let her go get him a glass of water. So she left him and when she came back poof he was gone again -
The Visit
Anna ended up taking Bennett's address and visiting him. His grandmother Maggie answered the door and invited Anna in. When Anna went and saw Bennett he looked worse than the day on the bench. His eyes were sunken in and blue with bags under them. His room was a mess to he had homework everywhere. When he saw Anna he was really angry at her and told her to leave. She told him she wasn't going to leave without any answers. He ended up kicking her out. -
Missing
After the bench incident Bennett just went missing for a really long time. -
Bennett's house
Anna wanted to make sure that Bennett was okay so she asked the lady at the front desk if she could just have Bennetts number just to see if he's okay. The lady said no but Anna's friend Emma if she could get it. Emma went back to Anna with no number but ended up getting his address. -
The Track
The track is where Anna first thought she saw Bennett. He was sitting on the belchers while she was running. But then she looks over and all of a sudden he's not there. She went to see if she was just going crazy or actually saw him. She saw the imprint of where his feet were. But she didn't see any foot prints that made it look like he walked away. -
Coffee House
A couple hours after Bennett kicked Anna out of his house he went to visit her at the book store since they weren't busy she closed shop early and went to the coffee house to just chill and talk. Everything was so amazing. He explained everything to Anna, of course she didn't understand. But then he leans in and touches her face and then BAM! He doesn't kiss her! That part made me just so angry -
Why are you still here?
Bennett said that he wouldn't be going to school anymore because he was only staying in town due to his parents being in Europe on a trip. He was staying with Maggie to finish school and also to take care of her. But Anna thought it was sort of fishy because he was still here and should've left 4 or 5 days ago -
Conclusion
The end kind of made me upset because I was like ugh it's really over. I really enjoyed the book there was a lot of twist and turns throughout the story. But over all I really liked the book and I would recommend it to anyone.
