His name is Mr. Kadam from India. Mr Kadam tells Kelsey about the strange legend of the prince named Dhiren. Before the tiger goes, Mr. Kadam asks Kelsey to accompany the tiger to India. Kelsey goes to India on a plane riding first class. On the way there, Mr. Kadam tells her many stories of the India culture. When they arrive in India, a backpack with many traveling tools is inside. The driver that drives Ren and her to the reserve goes right past the reserve and goes to an outer town instead. Stopping at a gas station, the driver tells Kelsey to go eat. Ren walks into the jungle and Kelsey goes after him. They live off of power bars and water bottles. In the morning they find a hut. Kelsey ties up Ren. She hears someone talking, kelsey turns around and Ren is human. He explains that he can only stay human for 25 minutes. Kelsey falls alseep in the hut and wakes up and meets a man named Phet. He explains to her how she is the chosen one to break the curse that bounds Ren to the tiger life. In the morning, Phet sends Ren and Kelsey off. -

Kelsey and Ren reach a jeep. They drive to Ren's home. It is a beautiful Palace. Mr. Kadam apoligizes for the huge journey and explains everything. Kelsey gets up the next morning and wears a beautiful Indian dress. She explores the palace and Ren's room. The next morning, Kelsey and Ren are sent to go to the cave. Ren and Kelsey go to Ren's home. She finds out his real age. They also find out they must go into a cave with many dangerous passages. They make it, and walk through the jungle. When they make it home, they find out they have to eneter another cave. First they stop at a [part of jungle. They run into Kishan, Ren's brother. He gives Kelsey an amulet to protect her. Kelsey has a nightmare about the hunt. Her and Ren have to leave the forest. Kishan doesn't go along but gives her an amulet. Before they go to Durga's Temple, they stop at a hotel next to a patch of jungle so Ren could stay there. Ren comes up in the middle of the night to Kelsey's rooms. There they have their first kiss. Kelsey and Ren get into a lot of fights. Kelsey almost dies from a kappa. They get the Golden Fruit and bring it back to Ren's home. Kelsey also has to talk to Ren about their relationship and how she will go home. Ren is enraged. He realizes that he gets 6 hours of human time now. He takes Kelsey to dinner.
