He discusses how all the anomalies in science lead to a 'revolution' of science, in which new ways of thinking begin to be thought and taught. -

This notion of paradigms completely changed how some people viewed science. Kuhn believed that science is influenced by culture and race, not just scientific thought. The idea was that scientists would "discover" what they expected to until there is a significant paradigm shift. For example, everyone thought the earth was the center of the cosmos until Copernicus thought otherwise. This brought about a lot of tensions with religious leaders. . -
