    After ww1 ended Germany was called on to pay reparations to all countries they had affected in ww1. They thought that the best solution for this problem was to print more money but in doing so they printed so much money it had very little value.

    Hitler began writing Main Kampf while he was in Prison during 1923. It is a two volume set with the second being published in 19 26. The book is a big piece of the propaganda that was used to influence people to rally behind Hitler's cause. The book contained Hitler's view on race, society and peoples opinion and stories.

    Due to the treaty of Versailles Rhineland was supposed to stay a demilitarized zone by the Rhine river in western Germany. Hitler violated the treaty by invading the area and occupying it with troop. They were also suppose to keep a small military which he violated as well.

    The Anschluss was the annexation of Austria by Germany in 1938. The chancellor of Austria, Arthur Seyss-Inquart, invited German troops into Austria to restore law and peace. He was only chancellor for 2 days before the annexation happened.

    Kristallnacht is known in Germany as the night of broken glass where hundreds of hate crimes were committed against the Jews of Germany. 267 synagogues were burned to the ground, up 30,000 Jewish men were arrested, and hundreds of Jewish shops had been either robbed or their front windows smashed.

    The Munich conference was made so Germany had a set amount of land and borders Germany could take and called the Sudetenland . The conference took place in Munich Germany with France, Italy, the united kingdom and Germany all signing the treaty so Germany could take it.

    Due to the Munich agreement which states that Germany could only have the part of Czechoslovakia they violated the agreement when they took the rest of Czechoslovakia. The agreement didn't hold out as long as they expected and fueled the war even more.
