The Treaty of Versailles signed.
It was one of the peace treaties which ended World War I. It ended the state of war between Germany and the Allied Powers. It had 440 articles. -
The Global Depression begins.
It started in the United States and it was the deepest and longest-lasting global economic crisis, so it finished in 1939. -
Hitler becomes Chancellor of Germany.
This day, the General Paul van Hindenburg proclamed Adolf Hitler the Chancellor of Germany and he led a totalitarian system until the 30 of April 1945. -
The Spanish Civil War.
It took place from 1936 to 1939 and was fought by the Republicans and the Nationalists, a group led by Franco, who won and ruled Spain for 36 years more. -
Rome Berlin Axis: Hitler-Mussolini Alliance.
It was a coalition formed in 1936 between Italy and Germany. Its aim was to connect two fascist countries. Later, Japan will join too. -
Anschluss with Austria.
German troops entered Austria and Adolf Hitler anounced an Anschluss between Germany and Austria. It lasted until the 5th of May 1945. -
The Munich Agreement.
They were approved and signed by the presidents of United Kingdom, France, Italy and Germany. Its aim was to solve problems and economic crisis. -
Nazis invade Czechoslovakia.
Hitler's forces invade Czechoslovakia and also they occupied the country, which was a nation sacrified on the Munich Pact. It prevented Germany's aims. -
The Nazi-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact.
It was signed between Germany and the Soviet Union which guaranteed that the two countries would not attack each other. It was broken two years later. -
Nazis invade Poland.
It was a military movement which aim was to control the Polish territory. Its german name was the "Fall Weiss".
