All electrical power is rendered useless in the United states when Russia and Japan team up to drop a EMP on the U.S -
Russia and Japan take over the U.S
Since most vehicles, weapons, and forms of communication are powered by electricity at this point in time the U.S Army cannot defended the citizens of the U.S. Russia and Japan invade killing anyone that gets in their path and claim the U.S as their own. The U.S military puts up a good fight but cannot overcome the combined forces of Russia and Japan. All political leaders including the President are killed. -

The Oppression of the Invaders
Former U.S citizens are captured by the invaders and are used as labor slaves. The task that citizens did as a profession in the U.S are what they are used to slave for by Russia and Japan. If a citizen did not have a specific profession they are used as labor slaves for all the hard dirty work. Russia and Japan co rule the new country named The Union of R and J. Former U.S citizen have zero rights and are forced to do whatever the government requests. Failing to comply can result in death -
The Beginning of the end of R and J
R and J have had control of former U.S soil for 23 years at this point. Former U.S allies see the oppression that The R and J union are bringing on former U.S citizens. The citizens that escaped from the U.S 23 years ago make an alliance with Australia, France, and all other former allies of the U.S come together to overthrow R and j. Most countries in the world hate japan for breaking a war treaty with the U.S so most countries are willing to fight against R and J for committing a war crime. -

The War of Many Nations
Americas allies stage an attack on R and J on a late night on November 5th 2058. This is the beginning of a war that will go on to last 13 years. Little by little year by year Americas allies began to take over U.S land controlled by R and J. The Army of Americas allies fights until they fully regain control of America for its citizens this takes a total of 13 years and all former slaves are freed from captivity. America is now given the ability to establish government once again -
The United Nations of America is formed
America is now known as The United Nations of America. citizens of the countries that helped America are now allowed to migrate to american very easily this is why the name of the country is changed. The goal of the new country is to bring countries together to bring peace and understanding of different cultures and beliefs. -
The Accord of the Nations
The Accord of the nations is formed to have laws on how the U.S and its allies handle business and cooperate with one another. These include trade laws and what citizens of allies nations are required to move to the U.S. Only allies of The United Nations of America are allowed to move into the country. -
The Rules of Honor
The Rules of Honor are the rights in which citizens are given similar to the former bill of rights. This is formed in a meeting between the nations on March, 18th 2071 -
The Arrangement of The Nations
This document sets in place the laws of the government and how government will be .split up and handled. it is similar to the United States Constitution. This document sets out the jobs and rules of government and how citizens will be involved in government
