A period of time in which Money lost it's value, people lost jobs and their livelihood, and racial discrimination was high. The stock market crashed when their was nobody left to buy the new products of the roaring twenties, as you either already had it, or you couldn't afford any of it. -

The last major League of Nations-sponsored disarmament conference meets from February to July 1932 at Geneva, with 60 nations in attendance -
Adolph Hitler
Adolf Hitler is named Chancellor of Germany. This was a step in his eventual climb to dictatorship, and the start of WW2 -
World War 2
Britan and France declare war on Germany, because of Germany's conquests and wars in Eastern Europe. -
The Holocaust
A Massacre of all of the Jew in Europe, by Hitler and the Nazi Party. It was a little known fact that the jews were being killed, until later on in the war, as most people thought that they were being sent to a camp to live.
