    I am the only child of Amy Tjaarda. I graced her presence on the 13th day of April. I was 6 lbs. 1 oz.
  • Tjaarda Family Reunion

    Even though I was only four years old, I remember this reunion very vividly. On the fourth day of this week long event, we held a family talent show. This reunion was so much fun.
  • Started First Grade

    I went to Whittier Elementary. My first grade teacher was Mr. Curry. He was in the Air Force before he was a teacher. He was really awesome!
  • Started Playing Softball

    Started Playing Softball
    This is the year that my mom introduced me to the lovely sport of softball. Before this, I was playing every sport known to man. But then I found the thing that I love.
  • My Cat Simba

    My Cat Simba
    On this day, I got the greatest birthday present ever. We got Simba from a family friend. And Simba was going to die because his mom has been run over and he couldn't have survived on his own.
  • My Grandfather Died

    This was probably the hardest point in my life. He was not only my grandfather, but he was my best friend. We found out that he had stage 4 lung cancer on the 5th of January. And 10 days later, he passed away.
  • Started High School

    I remember being so scared to start high school. I didn't have classes with any of my friends. And I knew the first few weeks were going to be hard. But I made some great friends in my classes, and we are still friends to this day.
  • Made the Varsity Softball Team

    Made the Varsity Softball Team
    My freshman year, I made the varsity team. It was very scary at first, because I was playing with juniors and seniors. Not only playing with, but I was also playing against people who were older than me. But, in the end, it made me a better ballplayer.
  • Moved to New Apartment

    I was really surprised that on the last day of school, my mom told me that we were moving over the summer. I had lived in my old apartment my whole life. But I love my new apartment now, it's so cute and just what we need to survive and live comfortably.
  • Started Senior Year

    I'm excited to start my senior year. Although, I don't want to be an adult yet. But i'm sure that feeling will go away later on in the year.
