    Led by Pope Innocent III to retake Jerusalem. However, the target eventually changed to Constantinople. Because of the crusade, the city lost it riches and relics, and the Byzantine Empire was split.

    Led by King Louis IX in an attempt to control both Egypt and Jerusalem. Despite initial success, it ended just as well as the Fifth Crusade. It also resulted in the capture and ransoming of King Louis.
