The city will evaluate bids from suppliers, gather input from city residents, select a supplier and establish program rates.

"Opt-out" process begins for residents who don't want to be included in the electricity aggregation.

Dec 1, 2012

Residents can opt-out at no cost and will be free to secure energy on their own.

Account enrollment begins, opt-out period ends

Jan 1, 2013

Anyone who did not opt-out of the aggregation will be enrolled in the energy program that the city has selected.
