    Court case involving jim crow on how there was still segregation involved with African Americans. This was a landmark constitutional law case for the US supreme court. This was a landmark because it was under the doctrine of "separate but equal". This made Africans Americans act upon themselves more. It made the whites believe they still had won and had more power. was a start that African Americans were going to protest.
  • Brown V. Board of Education

    Brown V. Board of Education
    This case was about when the African Americans were fighting to be allowed to whites schools. The African Americans thought they had a right to get the same education in the same building with the whites. But at the end they agreed to let African Americans enter whites school. It was a start for the African Americans right movement, they were allowed to get the same education in the same building now. But it was very hard for African Americans to survive school, only a few made it out of school.

    Emmett till was 14 when he whistled at a white lady, her husband and the brother in law brutally murdered him.It became known around the world for the fact that he was an African american kid and the lady he whistled to was white.A lot of people that that was unfair. It was not a good reason just to attack someone for their race. It got peoples attention.People started to join the movement.

    Rosa parks was a brave women.She was tired one afternoon and got o the bus and sat on the first "colored section".She was asked by many white people and bus driver to move.Yet she didn't flinch one bit.She was not going to stand up because she believed she desired that seat for how tired she was.She was arrested that day trying to stand up for herself.Till this day everyone admires her for that.

    when 7 African Americans and 6 whites left Washington D.C on to public buses to the deep south. They went to confront them about the case of when the whites had their side and the African Americans couldn't pass it. They dint want the African Americans getting to their destination so they put a bus on fire with African Americans in it. This made the African Americans mad. They had to be careful because the whites were attacking.

    More than a thousand people participated in this march. A march that showed the government fighting about freedom and jobs. It was a huge impact on the movement came about.     MLK was assassinated during one of his speech at a march. He was killed by a single shoot who got to his face and neck. MLK left a mark on the people when he was gone. He was one of the strongest person who fought with non violence to stop colored segregation. Influenced a lot of people so they kept his legacy. MLK will always be remembered for many people because of his legacy.
