    On March 10th 2018 an announcement was made known as "Punish a Muslim Day;" on April 3th 2018, individuals who would choose to harass a Muslim would receive "points" for doing so. Once this Islamophobic message was pronounced the news spread out very quickly via the use of social media and news.

    Leading up to the even, there were many thoughts going through people(s) mind, specifically Muslims. as more and more news spread about this upcoming violence, it made Muslims worry about what was to come in the near future this ultimately leading to felling more and more insecure. During this time many Muslim and non-Muslim social media influences such as; Yousef Erakat, and Roman Atwood were trying to spread a message peace.
  • What Anti- Muslims did to Promote This Attack.

    As days lead up to this attack, Anti-Muslims were doing there efforts to promote these attacks. These acts were most dominant in countries such as Germany, and The US. These people went around posting flyers on street poles, and store fronts in there attempt to influence more of these attacks to be done. As time went on and police found out this was happening police had gotten involved to investigate. This for some countries lead police to increase security in busy and populated areas.

    Up-till now many Muslims were concerned of what was to come on the upcoming April 3th, many of them describing themselves as having the chills, and a over-buildup of anxiety. This message could be seen on many Muslims social media, leading to a hashtag that called for a new day. #LoveAMuslimDay

    On ''Punish a Muslim Day'' many were both Muslims and non Muslims because of the chance of a terrorist attack. On this day there were indeed many hateful acts that occurred, the deadliest of them being torching, and murder
  • What Happens after April 3rd 2018

    After the series of these attacks, a Muslim girl named Amani Al-Khatrahtbek, had spread a message on the internet. This message was to promote the faith and beliefs of Muslims, and show what they really had believe in. The promotion of #LoveAMuslimDay was further increased and and official day was announced to overtake every other April 3rd from ''Punish a Muslim day"
