In the second chapter, Michael Oher was introtuded briefly. He was introduced as a very original football player. And Lemming who knew little about Oher was a very hard working football scout. He went all over the nation to find top highschool and collage football players. However Oher went to a small private school, which was why is was so wierd he made it to NFL. The politics and how much each player made was the main focus point of this chapter. -

Most high schoolers would be dieing to fill out the paperwork and have a discussion with Lemming. However Lemming was still very interested in Oher because of his size. -

He didn't do good with school at all and all his teachers were complaining about him, Michael didn't talk to anyone, which scared the little kids at school. Leigh Anne saw him one day in the same thing he was wearing the day before and noticed he didn't have anywhere to go. So she took him shopping and tried to get clothes for himfrom professional football players but unfortunately,Michael was too big. -

He finally gets eligiable for football his junior year, and everyday collage coaches come to see him practice. It was very rare to have a football player be that big, fast, powerful and talented but Michael was. -

Except the whistle never blew.He decided he wants a drivers license and couldn't get one because he has no proof of who he is. He finally got his liscense and began his senior year. Sean found ways to give him the plays and found what worked best. Michael got in a car accident and saved SJ's life. Then collages offered scholerships. -

Michael had to make some big decesions. He finally desided he'll go to Ole Miss for college. Then the Tuohy's got suspected of abducting Michael. So Michael and Sean were questioned about many different things by the NCAA. It started out with him listing his siblings, all of them. Including SJ and Collins but also he's real siblings who he didn't really know the names of. Then Senior year Oher got all A's and B's. And then he was college bound. -

Michael worried about going to Ole Miss because supposable black people aren't welcome there. But he meets the coach and gets told that he is a visual learner. Coach wasn't going easy on Michael at all, because coach just wanted to win! One day Michael had gone to his moms and ended up getting arrested even though he was innocent. And then the NCAA lady was investigating some more. Michael realized he liked to write, and was pretty good at it.And soon many NFL coaches started to offer contrats.
