    Francisco Hernandez

    Francisco Hernandez decordoba was the first European to go visit mexican territory. He also arrived in cuba with lots of ships and around 100 men in 1517. In march 1519, cortes went to a town named Tabasco where he learned about the aztecs and lots of great things about their tribe.

    During 1520 there was lots of chaos from an approach of and arriving spanish expedition they came from cuba ready to take away cortes's goods. Cortes was able to defeat them but it cost him. While he was gone the 80 spaniards left because they were losing control of the city all because of their barbarous treatment of the inhabitants.

    Invaders led by the spanish overthrew the aztecs with force. And they later captured Tenochtitlan in the year 1521. This was bringing a end to the Mesoamericas last great native civilization.

    The spaniards then murdered thousands of the aztecs nobles during a ritual ceremony. And montezuma died under uncertain reasons while in custody. His young nephew took ownership as emperor and the aztecs drove the spaniards from the city. They finally defeated the Cuauhtemoc’s resistance on August 13, 1521.
