The Advent Council

    The Clans Begin to Form

Early into the colonizing of the Solace landmass, several rudimentary clans begin to form, all vying to obtain as much of the continent's land as possible.
  • Ethereal Offensive

While many clans dotted the landscape, some of them housing the early Ethereals, others only humans, the largest of the Ethereal factions began a large-scale assault on much of the human-controlled territories.
  • Period: to

    The Clan Wars

The wars between the clans escalated for a few years, with each clan pouring everything they had into gaining as much territory as possible on the finite continent. While the primitive fighting raged on, it became more and more obvious that the point in fighting became less about territory and more about racial issues between Etherals and humans or "non-E's" ("nones" later becomes a racial slur in the Ethereal community"
  • Period: to

    Merging of the Clans

As the racial tension grew increasingly within the fighting factions, many of the clans on either side of the racial divide began to merge into larger, militaristic governments.
  • The Three-Fourths Agreement

Growing in alarming numbers, the merged Ethereal clans (now dubbed "The Binal Republic") forced the incredibly weakened human population into an agreement that would eventually lead to a prosperous period of peace between the governments. The Ethereals were granted Three-fourths of Solace's land, while the humans were forced to live peacefully within it's cold northern regions.

    Period of Peace

Dubbed by human historians as the "Stifled Period", The continually-growing Etheral empire enjoyed its un-confronted reign over Solace's resources and land. For over a century, normal humans were forced to adapt to the cold northern regions of the continent, consistently testing the Three-Fourths boundary line set up by each government to keep the racial tensions at bay. Later in the truce's years however, agreements and promises began to fail as survival became increasingly difficult.
  • Period: to

    Testing the Waters

Skirmishes begin to break out across the Three-Fourths line. Several renegade human groups test the water of the agreement, forcing the Binal Republic to make another militaristic decision.
  • Birth of the Advent

Whether the Advent was a natural phenomenon or whether it was un-naturally created by the human organizations by means unaware of others at the time, the intensely-critical Advent Marcus Pearson is born in the upmost part of the northern regions.
  • Death of a Leader

The current BR commander is killed. It is unclear if this an assassination by the human territories, or death at the hands of an Ethereal.
  • Election of Hatred

A new commander is elected, and a new offensive mindset sweeps across the republic. The "Integration Plan" is formed as a green light to force the remaining human populations out of their own land and onto BR owned sections of Solace.
  • Northern Territory Offensive

Word spread quickly of the Integration Plan, angering many of the Northern Territory government heads. This allowed a large amount of the renegade groups already causing mischief on the border to slip in their Ethereal-slandering propaganda to open ears. Rather than sit and wait as land was again taken from them, the Northern Territories unanimously decided to take up arms and strike first.
  • Period: to

    The Advent Wars

The Northern Offensive launched Solace's most intense conflict in history. Lasting almost half a century, the Advent Wars quickly became Solace's greatest turning point. Using their knowledge of the frozen northern landscape, and the young Advent's incredible ability, the Northern Territories manage to dwindle down the Republic's forces on the border before pushing deep into easily-taken territory. Both sides mercilessly tarnish Solace ground with the blood of their opponents.
  • Fall of the Republic

Cut almost in half and overwhelmed by the sheer ferocity of the Northern Territories, the Republic is forced to swallow its pride and accept defeat at the hands of those it once contained. This is considered to be the most beneficial turning point in human history, as the human race began to flourish after the conflict.
  • Period: to

    Period of Democracy

The ex-Northern Territories begin to forcibly eliminate and segregate most of the Ethereals within the newly-captured regions with as much prejudice as they were shown. Bringing forth a form of representative democracy practiced on a smaller scale within the smaller human communities, the now fully-expanded government renames itself to the "United Regions".
  • Energy of the Future

The Regional Mining Corporation strikes gold as 3 gargantuan pockets of Uru, the incredibly versatile liquid energy source are unearthed and tested on. Because of this finding, the RMC split into 3 independent parts, the largest of the 3 being a corporation called "Liquanta", lead by Silas Ryavec.
  • Period: to

    Reformation

As the 3 Uru corporations become increasingly more wealthy, powerful, and influential, the eventual steps into the political landscape became clear. Because Uru was used in everything from food creation to weapons manufacturing, it quickly became apparent how much of the United Regional government the corporations owned. Liquanta eventually gathered the other 2 corporations into a plan to gather complete control of the government residing over Solace.
  • The Advent Council

A power shift was enacted by the three corporate heads as well as the current governmental leaders of the United Regions. Hands were shook and monumental amounts of currency were exchanged to put the 3 corporations in charge of the Advent Council, a newly-instated oligarchy that stretched its fingers of power over every inch of Solace. The Advent Council was the new face of government, and it made sure that no other force could stand up to its immense resources and influence.
