The 26th Amendment
On this day the 26th amendment was passed, allowing 18 year olds the right to vote. This right was signed by Richard Nixon. This was passed because people should be able to pick who is in charge of our country if they can fight and die for our country. This amendment gave younger people importance in decisions of our country.
This event is important because it gave young people the right to make important decisions the have a big role in our country. -

The people thought that the amendment was great, they thought of it as an opportunity that would change the world. If this amendment was not passed, we might not have had the same presidents that we did, we could have had a better world, or worse world, and it turned out for the better.
This event changed the future. If this amendment wasn't passed, we might have had Mitt Romney for president, or we might have Hilary Clinton now. -

On this day in 1976, The first Apple computer was invented. The inventors of the computers were Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne. This one computer resulted in a long line of very popular products. The computer was invented in Cupertino, California.
This event changed the world with the new products every year such as the Iphone, or the Ipad, or the mac book. Today the company is worth about three quarters of a trillion dollars. -

I want to have went to this event because I would have wanted to meet Steve Jobs, and get to see how it all started. My family uses Iphones and they are great, and if the first Apple computer was not invented the world would be way different. If I was actually there at that moment I would not change a thing, because Apple is my favorite tech company, and is known world wide. -

This event shaped the future in many ways, the Apple computer created a long line of products making Apple one of the largest tech companies in the world. Ever since this invention, the ipad has come out, the mac book has come out, and the Iphone, which is the most popular phone on the market with most of the United States using them. Overall Apple is one of the greatest companies in the world.
