This is when I was born. My mom had me when she was a teen. She had many struggles in life especially finding places to stay. She was usually staying at my aunts house. They were fine with it but it still showed she struggled. But we both have overcome that now we live in a nice house and are stable in our wealth. -
Effects of Teen Pregnancy
It is important to get proper parental care even if you aren't a teen mom because it will give you and the baby a better life later on. "Those who don't get proper prenatal care run the risk that such complications won't be detected or won't be dealt with soon enough" (page 10). Also the sooner you get help the easier and better it will be for the mom, dad, and the baby. "But the sooner in pregnancy good care begins, the better for the health of both moms and their babies" (page 10). -
Effects of Teen Pregnancy on Society
Teen pregnancy doesn't always just effect the family but it can also effect society around you. "Long-term effects include lack of education of both the parents and child. Teen parents tend to leave school or not attend college, which limits their potential contributions to society and prospects for career advancement" (page 12).
