    Growing up I watched movies a lot. We used a VCR player to play the VHS tapes that our videos were on. My favoirte movie to watch growing up was Toy Story. I watched it on repeat all day long.

    This is when I began Pre-School and learned how to write. We used pencils when practicing our alphabets. I went to Pre-School for two years, so I had a lot of practice with this.
  • Our First Computer

    Right before I started Kindergarten my parents bought us a brand new apple computer to do our homework on. It looked just like this image, except it was purple. The computer was huge, it ran very slowly, and you couldn't use the internet if you needed to use the telephone.

    For my 7th birthday I got a discman. This allowed me to take my CD's anywhere, and listen to them personally. You had to be very careful not to drop it or your CD would skip.
  • Palm Pilot

    For my 9th birthday I got a palm pilot, and I thought I was so cool. My older sister had one so I got one to be just like her.
  • Nokia Cell Phone

    I moved in with my grandparents, so my parents bought me a cell phone to keep in touch. I was one of the first in my class to have a cell phone so it made all my friends jealous.
  • AOL

    AOL
    In 6th grade we created an AOL account so my friends and I could instant message. Not everyone had phones yet, so this was the next best thing.

    For Christmas we got a DVD player. This was kind of like a VHS player, only much more compact.

    I got to create a facebook account this year, and I thought this was the greatest thing ever invented.

    Summer of 9th grade I created a Pinterst. I planned my wedding, what my dream home would look like, and what my children would wear. Of course, things have changed since then.
