    The End of The French and Indian War ened because Greate Britain signed a treaty with France called "The Treaty of Paris" in 1763.

    The Sugar Act Parliament passed a modifiled verion of the Sugar Act and Molasses (1733)
  • The Stamp Act

    The Stamp Act
    The Stamp Act was passed to the colonists by British parlimaent in 1765. The Stamp Act stated the colonists has to pay tax on every piece of paper they used. This angered the colonists because they did this without colonists concenet.
  • The Quartering Act

    The Quartering Act
    On May 3, 1765 the British got together and passed a new law to the colonies called the Quartering Act. The act stated that the soldiers could only stay in barracks. If there were not enough spaces in the barracks, they could stay in public houses or inns.

    The Declaratory Act
    Parliment repeled the Stamp Act after they passed out the Declaratory Act. The purpose of this act was to better the securing of dependency upon the crown and Parliment of Great Britain.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    The cause of the Boston Masacre in 1770 was because a group of "patriots" disrespecting the British soldiers. They disrespected them by throwing snowballs, stones, and sticks at the soldiers. The presence of the British troops were unwelcomed in Boston. The riot began when 50 citizens attacked a British Sentinel, causing the British soldiers to fire at the citizens killing 4 people and wounding 6 people. A town meeting was then called, the British soldiers were released.

    The Tea Act was a law passed by British Parliament to Boston colonists, stating that you need to pay tax for tea. This made the colonists angry so they poored all the tea into the ocean.

    The Intolerable Acts took place in Boston. It was the American name of punitive laws passed by the British Parliment in 1774 after the Boston Tea Party. They were passed to punish the Massachusetts colonists for their actions of throwing a large tea shipment into the Boston harbor.
  • First Continental Progress

    First Continental Progress
    The First Continental Congress took place in Carpentar's Hall in Philadelphia from Sep. 5th to Oct. 26, 1774. All colonies except for Georgia sent delegates to this location. This represented all of the colonies except for Georgia because of what they talk about. They came together to make a plan for the colonies to unite and go against Great Britain.
  • Battle of Lexington and Concord

    Battle of Lexington and Concord
    On the night of April 18, 1775 hundreds of British soldiers marched from Boston to nearby Concord in order to get a hold of an arms cache. So the colonial men rang the alarm to warn their people of the Redcoats. A confrontation started the fight in Lexington, the British soon retreated due to heavy fire from the colonists.
