    Lincoln's Ten Percent Plan was the beginning of his Reconstruction of the United States. This plan states that in order for a state to be readmitted, at least 10% of the state's voters have to swaer a loyalty oath to the Union and agree to end slavery,

    The Radical Republicans proposed the Wads-Davis Bill becasue they tought that Lincoln's plan would leave too much power in the hands of former Confedrate ledership. This Bill recquired the sates to accept the end of slavery and to grant all African American men the right to vote.

    The 1st Reconstruction Act was to provide for a more efficient government for the rebel states. This act came into place because the states refused to ratify the 14th Admendment. So this act divied the 10 "unconstructed states" ino 5 military districts.

    The 14th Admendment's purpose was to undo legal concessions that have been made to slavery since writing the Constitution. It also granted citizenship to "all persons born or naturalized in the U.S.A.", which also included former slaves that were recently freed.
