    Sputnik was made by Mikhail Tikhonravov in the Soviet Union. It was the first Earth satellite. It was made on October 4, 1957. Gemini was made by the U.S. and was the second human spaceflight program of NASA. Project Mercury was the first human spaceflight program of the United States. It ran from 1959 through 1963 with two goals: putting a human in orbit around the Earth, and doing it before the Soviet Union, as part of the early space race.

    The N.E.A.R. Mission was made by NASA and was managed by Andrew Chang. It was made to study near earth astroids. It launched on February 17, 1996, and its last call to Earth was on February 28, 2001.

    The Cassini Mission was made by NASA, the ESA, the ISA and 14 other coutries. It was made to explore Saturn and its biggest moon Titan. It costed $3. billion. Titan is the only known planet to have an atmosphere. Huygens release date was December 24, 2004. Huygens probe decent date was January 14, 2005. Huygens returned data to Earth for 90 minutes, then died.
