    The Soviet Union was finally admitted into the League of Nations in 1934. The League of Nations was created to develop cooperation between nations and guarantee peace and security between them. It was also made to prevent wars and help keep peace with other nations.

    IN 1943, Stalin, Churchill and Roosevelt all met at the Tehran Conference. The conference was to discuss strategy between the Ally leaders. The Western Allies formed a commitment to open a second front against Germany.
