    Czechoslovakian's wanted a democracy and freedoms within the government. School kids assembled to protest, they wanted a new government. Havel became the first democratic president.

    The Berlin wall was taken down by citizens to connect East and West Germany again. The country promised to not crate another World War when unifying again.

    Polish people were the first to tart changing there government to a democracy. Workers went on a strike to demand government recognition. Lech Walesa became a national hero.

    Romania's communist country was brutal from the secret police to the strict government. People began protesting the government, many students explained there concerns. The army came in and fought for a new government.
