In 2000 many people have evolved to the idea of the internet. This is so important because it really shows how many people were interested in this type of thing, which gave engineers a reason to innovate it. This event affected the people'e lives greatly by making something we now use everyday. By this time society was begging for more and was not going to stop until they got it. Social Media Market Takes Off!
In 2004 social media had a huge break-through with two social media websites called Facebook and Twitter. These two weksites have impacted so many people's lives! Many people still use these websites today to share information or to just keep in touch. Society has completely changed since these were discovered, because it has just become the norm for people to use these apps all the time. Plus marketers who created these apps and better them created a jackpot for themselves. -
YouTube
YouTube is loved my so many people, and lets people share videos on virtually anything! So many people that I know watch YouTube videos on their free time, whether it be music videos or vlogs or whatever else. For society, YouTube can be turned into a career. The more views on you videos you get the more money you make. -

Finally the mobile phone is here! These early stages of iPhone changed the way people could communicate with a phone. It added a new feature to the lives of the people/society called apps. Instagram was founded in 2010 and is still in use to this day. Instagram has enhanced many upgrades to their app. You can post at any time of day and this has kept people always checking their phone, which some argue that this has harmed society forever. -

A year later in 2011 the glorious app used by millions and millions of people. This is an app in which you can text with a picture as the background. It was a great inventions, and has had some pretty snazzy updates over the years, such as they increased the time that you can see the snap, you can type even more, and have group chats and stories! This feature that can be used on Instagram and Facebook is basically a one way live video chat, where people can show everyone who follows them what they are doing. This feature has been used irresponsibly before but for the most part it was very beneficial.
