    Scylla and Charybdis

    Scylla and Charybdis
Odysseus and his men finally past the Sirens’ island. His men navigate the predicament to
Scylla and Charybdis. Syclla is a six-headed monster who shows the evil side by swallowing at least one poor sailor from each ship. Charybdis is a big natural disaster (whirlpool) who somehow intimidates the men on the ship into thinking that it’s going to swallow them. Odysseus loses at least six of men which brings him down to a lowered number because in the previous stories he lost men.
